How to Get Replacement Ballot

How to Get Replacement Ballot

Need a Replacement Ballot?

Go to a Voter Service & Polling Center

You can still vote in Larimer County even if you did not get your ballot due to leaving your home for evacuation.

Larimer County has a long list of Voter Service and Polling Centers (“VSPC”) that are open from October 19 through 7 p.m. on November 3. VSPCs are available for in person voting, for obtaining replacement ballots, to change your voting address, or to assist disabled persons with voting.

You can even register to vote and vote on the same day (including on November 3 until 7 p.m.) -- as long as you meet the voter registration eligibility requirements.

For more information, visit the website Larimer.org/Clerk/Elections. Then select “Voting and Drop Off Locations”. That will provide you with a long list of VSPC sites, along with locations of drop boxes only. Estes Park has its own VSPC located in the Community Building (lower level).

Please note the dates and times that the VSPC you choose is open. If the VSPC you choose is in Larimer County, but not at the Estes Park VSPC, the replacement ballot you receive should have all the National, Senate, Congressional, County and Judicial District candidates. It may not have the Colorado House District 49 candidate (unless you are in another HD 49 location). However, it will include all the statewide ballot issues.

What is important is that you are safe, and you do not have to miss voting in order to stay safe in your evacuated location. For further information, you may want to call the Larimer County Elections Office at 970-498-7820. You can also check overall voting information at EVvoteblue.org, “Voter Tools”.
